The Erasmus MC is part of the so called Hoboken area in the city. Hoboken has been a green estate in the center of town until WW2. After the war this estate was rapidly transformed not in the least by the realization of the hospital. Still substantial parts of the Hoboken estate remained and we saw it our task to reinforce this atmosphere by creating a green city street, the Wytemaweg and renovating a leftover place, the Bananenpark.
